SPOTTED! actually spotted an NSX!

today, sunday (day after Japfest) spotted a red/red turning off A322 at Bagshot onto B3029! at 11.20ish! i was at traffic lights in a Cube! the joys of google maps i can revisit the venue and even name the road!!

if, of course, you were in a red/red at that time and place and you were doing something you shouldn't then the NSX i saw was lime green :)

Spotted one of our Euro friends - K NX 92 - on the A1/A61 heading to Koln on Saturday afternoon.

Was a red coupe with what seemed to be Type R mods, made quite a racket as it passed at about 100mph, so perhaps not a standard exhaust.

First outing this year in the NSX yesterday (to a Jaguar event) and on the way home spotted a dark coloured pop-up between Redhill and Reigate (Surrey) at around 5pm. I think you flashed me but I was a bit lost so didn't see you until the last second but it did look very shiny in the late afternoon/early evening sunlight :)

Probably only the 2nd time I've seen an NSX, while I've been in mine and not at an NSX event or meeting, in 10 yrs! Mind you I don't get out much :)

In the last 15 mins the dealer Tom Hartley had an open day inviting potential buyers (who turned up intheir supercars) to his garage, spotted a couple of shots of a charlotte green NSX with large aftermarket rear spoiler and later on rear of a silver NA1.

Thats just proving that NSX's get used and not all wrapped up as garage queens ... at a recent meet the 'resident' photographer commented on how nice it is to see a dirty supercar these days ... I was pleased to oblidge :)

I was just basing my comments on what was written on the instagram post hence "apparently". I use my car at all possible opportunities and wash it rarely as why waste time washing when you can be driving the car 😊

Personally I am happy to see that the NSX is out in the wild for all to see as they are becoming an increasingly rare sight!

Seats are perforated leather, steering wheel maybe not, maybe a bad photo. If it is an 02 copy, they have certainly got a lot of other small details correct, like the gear knob, exhaust, etc.

Simon, my guess would be Nigels first facelift before replaced with the Pearl .... I recall a conversation with him that suggested after much time being spent by Honda the car was resold ... if this is it then its been off the radar for several years.

Out on the bike this morning, gave the thumbs up to B2 NSX travelling in convoy with various other (lesser) cars, including MX5s, MGFs, a couple of Triumphs, Reliant Scimitar and 205 Rallye on the A70 near Douglas, South Lanarkshire. Think the event was the Galloway Gallop, although I don't see the NSX on the entry list.

It will be several weeks before the car is ready and I am then away late may and early June but it would be glad to meet up.
