Anyone done it or tried?
Thought I'd D.I.Y it ahead of another road trip (Isle of Man) but strangely I can get a standard plug socket down the cam cover hole when mounted on standard 10inch extension?!?
The extention hits the engine cover so that you can't get the angle to slide it down.
Obviously the extension is too long but the other standard extension (5inch) is too short.
Guess I need to buy/borrow an extension in between these lengths, I guess about 8inches if such a thing is readily available.
Just though it was a bit of a bazaar problem for such a simple job!
