Guys,

I have this advice from Norton:

Spark plug replacement is recommended at 60,000 miles of 5 years whichever is sooner, the spark plugs are £18.02+VAT each, if replaced during the service the total cost for replacement would be £174.04 inclusive of parts labour and VAT.

But my plugs (pts no. 980795614H) were changed at 53,000 miles (6000 miles ago) but on the 22/06/2000 by Ted Johnson Honda in S Yorkshire. Do they need doing?

Apparently the NGK Laser Iridium's aren't recommended for the NSX, you're supposed to stick with, the slightly cheaper, Laser Platinum's.

Just replaced mine with NGK Laser Platinum PFR7G 11S's. One grade "colder" than standard (6's are standard) as when I do use the car I tend use it err... properly.
The colder plug is better for hotter climates and for track type use as it conducts heat away from the tip more quickly.
Cold starting should theoretically be slightly slower i.e a bit more cranking might be needed.

Got mine from Camberley Auto Factors at £8.39 each.

PFR6G-11 plugs are £7.34 plus VAT each from www.sparkplugs.co.uk

Makes sense to me.

Anyone else need any ??

Can look at requesting a discount if anyone else is interested ??
