If you wanted the seats to match the body colour like other type s's then you can always puke on them:P  :cantlook: (no puke icon)

How much ??

5,999,000.00 JPY

=

24,985.41 GBP plus shipping and taxes etc

Or for £36k you could have a more subtle version

If youtake the price at £25k, with it landed in the UK and all shipping vat, duties, UK conversion, MOT etc it would stand you in the region of £32/£33k

Doeasn't sound out of the question depending on mileage and year etc. It is obviously not a 2002+...;)

Its a 1998 car, with I think 33,000km which is 20,000miles

Well if you leave registering it until next year then it's just mph conversion, addition of a rear fog light and an MOT then you can drive it.

Come on guys someone buy it, my car feels sooo alone over here sometimes :)

I've never seen and haven't heard of a Lime Green NSX in the UK so you'd be unique.

Sorry for sounding dumb but would that make it cheaper?? Does it still need 'shipping vat, duties, MOT' ?

If you barter down the initial purchase price, can this reduce the VAT and duties. What proof do they require regarding the purchase price as the seller can write a receipt for a lower price.

The car will still need shipping, vat, mot, UK conversion and custom duties, plus the extra charges at DVLA for registering. The difference in importing a car from Japan, when it reaches 10years old is, SVA and model reports are not required, just an mot and UK conversion. VAT and import duties are charged according to the purchase price, if you can get it cheaper or an invoice showing a lower amount then YES the vat and duty rate will be reduced accordingly. From what I remember an original receipt is required from who you purchase the vehicle from

No it would just make it cheaper to get it on the road (oh and a lot easier).

The duty etc would of course be against the documented purchase price, but I'm not sure many in Japan would write a cheaper invoice.

Then you would also have issues should anything happen to it on the way over here, I know a few people who's cars are on the ocean bed :(

....I think that's what he said?

On another note, what size are the type S alloys? 16" & 17" or 17" & 17", I quite like the look of those.

Simon, the Type S rims on pop-ups are 16/17. The later 02 facelift has the 17/17 in the same style as our 02 std models.

They are BBS aren't they? I really like them, and i guess they are unique to Honda so £££££!

Not unique to Honda, but to get the correct sizes and offsets would be a pain.

Both Markc and I have them.
Think both sets were off Type S's originally.

They are BBS and they are £££... unless you get some cheap fakes like Simon has - thionk they were only about 10 bob a rim and you can't tell the difference from 3.7 miles.

just kidding;)
