Help with Steering

have a std 1991 manual coupe. Steering is knocking v slightly at v low speeds. Mechanic reckons it is a loose bushing on the inner tie rod that goes form the rack to the track rod end. was also going to order the urethane steering bush kit from sos.

Has anyone else had this issue and is there anything else I could consider to sort it?

A steering column bolt came slightly loose on mine, causing a slight knocking but not enough so you could feel it by pulling the wheel about.
