Saw this today at Hewitts Salvage yard. Done 65k . Wonder if it belonged to anyone here. Seems easy repair if right price.

Looks easy enough repair, but price and availability of parts would not be great.

Expect at least £5k to put that right if there is no structual damage.

these yellow ones eh..tsk tsk!

That to me looks like both wheels are pointing inwards , so could be more than 5k easily if suspension is bent.

Have u got the number for the salvage yard please?!! could be perfect this

Nsx vtec, where in Mancr you from? I know this car too, think its driven by a blonde & always at Sainsbury near city centre in Salford for years. Strangely, picked the P & J from Honda Mancr after annual service yesterday, chatted to head foreman (not X tech), he stated he knows of yellow X in North Mancr, wander if its the same car!? I've only ever seen 4 other X in Mancr, Sebring NA 02+, black JDM NA1,two yellow NA1s and now another yellow in Burnley! What is it about Yellow & Mancr! ;) Sad to see another X in a poorly state. :(

Had a little look at what someone could do with this ... heres my suggestion

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85939

Around $8k, so certainly within the £5k mentioned above plus you have the O2 look ... certainly worth a look depending on purchase price of car. Is it manual?

spoke to the breakers, woman on the phone didnt actually know if they had a yellow NSX in.. so could be right place could be wrong place. But what she did say is they dont break cars but sell them as a whole , if they can be repaired the public can buy them, if not only registered breakers can buy them

That's a funny old bump.....both front wings and bumper corners badly dinged, but frontal area of bumper looks fine!

How does that happen????

2001 sounds about right.

I remember because my dad sold this business off in 2001 and the car was seen then.

Manchester had a few NSX's over the years my uncle used to have 3.0 man red / black R7 NSX first owner from the dealer (one in the wirral).

There was also a sliver one around the cheshire area along with a *** import black on on a G plate? I was told this was a X track car it had bembro's after market coilovers and the body wasnt in the best state last time i saw this car was in 2004.

I'm from Worsley, do you own an X?

The Silver NA1 in Cheshire might be the one for sale recently here, use to belong to Elton John. Your Uncle's old red/black must be from 2Mills as only NSX dealer in North West & North Wales, but Rylands in Mancr stop selling X in 1997-98. I've seen the Black JDM a couple times in Mancr with that same reg plate. A silver G import, wow thats early as the only G regs that I know of were owned by HUK themselves? Maybe Japan had more G regs as they were sold there first, before coming here in 91.

I dont own a X yet but owned a few honda lol from ITR, Civic Vti CRX, will be looking for and NSX soon.

Yes the black imported one was a G reg i think it was G5 NSX or sumthing, it was quite ragged tbh but it sounded awesome!

is ur a 3.0 or 3.2?

TheSebringOne

Well thats a good way of moving up the Honda car range/ranks, when you get to the X, you will think WOW!, this is as high as Hondas goes & you've reached the pinnacle! Mines a 3.2 as on my avatar :) Always liked those CRXs, was it the penultimate model, ie one without the trick roof?

How does that happen????

Spin, or bounce from armco on one side to the other? Or punted on the corner into something on the other corner? Don't know.......

Looks like the steering arm has gone at the very least. If it's suspension parts as well as body work, assuming non structural, then it's still an expensive fix isn't it?

Very nice & in lovely condition for an L reg, also from 2Mills too, was the only NSX dealer in the NW & N.Wales! I had a L reg white Prelude with full Honda body kit, that 4WS was brilliant for parking and I loved the shape! I will dig some pics out of the Lude soon. Did you know the NSX used some technology from the Prelude, ie cylinder cores composed of carbon-fibre/aluminium-oxide matrix instead of iron!! Have you pics of the Rex please? :)

Mint condition Rex, I noticed that you only buy white Hondas!! You might struggle with white X as only seen a V reg NA2 and the only UK Type R NSX, Honda's own 53 reg. Think for sale for 100K as only one of its kind!

There's Nigels old car, his new one, the NA2 type R, an M reg (1995 car) and another NA2 aswell as the V reg one that was in need of a respray the last time it was sold that I know of.
