Hi I new to the NXSOC have to say great site, informative and interesting. I never knew there were so many people interested in this great car.

Anyway just bought the car of my dreams....a late 95 Yellow 3.0 T manual. Wanted this car for around 10 years, been searching properly for approx 2 years. As I am not really mechanically minded, I needed to find one that was in VGC that needed little work for around 20K.
Can you believe, I came out of work last week to go to the post office, came to the T junction and there it was, going past, my yellow NSX, so I quickly decided to follow said car, 2 miles later it came to a halt outside a paint shop and a Guy got out who is 73 years old!!!

Had a chat and found that he lives 1.5 miles from me!!! He was looking at selling due to poor health, had the car 5 years, been treated with tender care, no wet weather etc... Has all Honda service history from day 1, done 56,000, new clutch fitted 2000mls ago, Clean as a whistle, just had its 56,000 service with no problems.
We agreed a price of £24000 including Reg N30 NSX on Satuday morning.
I probably paid top money, but I reckoned I could have spent upto £1000 trying to find one. I had gone around £3000 over my budget, but I could just manage it.
Saturday night I won £3003 on the lottery (5 numbers)
I am collecting the car Friday so watch this space........

The moral is I suppose, you never know whats round the corner!!!

Good story. Well done on your purchase. If it's a true 1 owner minter, I don't think you paid too much over the top....especially if you won £3k on the lotto....beers are on you then!

HI Steve,

Welcome to NSXCB and what a way to introduce yourself!

Good looking NSX, I remember finding mine only a few miles from home too. Nice complementary plate and good choice of exhaust tips too ;)

Re the price, if you're happy then its the right price for the car. With our cars there is a lot of value in the history / condition / market availability.

Really liking the Yellow everytime I see one!

regards, Paul

PS, what times dinner?

Hi Steve,

I'm not a million miles away from you in Bromsgrove, and am on my way up to Derby once or twice a month! I'm sure we can have a mini-meet at some point if you fancy it?!

Great looking car - be prepared to get a crick in you neck looking back when parking up and walking away....:D

Cheers, Matt.

Congratulations on your new purchase & welcome to the club! :)
The car looks gorgeous, a credit to its previous owner has lavished real TLC on it with its immaculate body work, gold painted callipers & the alloys, which are dark chrome? what make are they?
Another X near the NorthWest, I concur with Dan, maybe a mini meet when you get used to your new baby? Dan, don't go thinking its a meet for yellow Xs only! ;)
Price wised, considering its had a new clutch recently, low mileage for year, just serviced and with FHSH, then its about right.

Well done on the serendipity front...what a beautiful car.

The money you paid is spot on - anything is worth what somebody will pay, and I reckon yours fits the bill pretty well!

Another one for JapaneseFest 08.

Could have done with a lotto win this week...but then I'd have to buy a ticket

Good things do have an odd habit of falling out the sky like that - great story in any case!

You will sleep badly; I did the night before I picked up the S2000 from Brussels. But that was not helped by too much seafood.

'Til tomato, then!

Nice car. Can't really see from the photos, but is there a secondary light under the third brake light. And what are the exhausts?

The quad zorst look very similar to Pauls (Senninha). They are slashed at 45 degrees and are a cat back system, they look great looking in real life, fancy some myself if I go non oem! Apparently they sound better, breathe easier & releases some ponies! Paul I hope you don't mind me mentioning your pipes!;)
