Any introduction or just straight in for the kill?!?!

I'm sure you'll find a few people on here who will be able to help anyway - might take a couple of days to reply though!

By the looks of it, it is a sealed unit and you will have to change the whole length which terminates under the front bonnet.

Has anyone discovered where there is a new sensor to be had? My latest info is that there isn't one even in Japan !! I am dealing with autodynamics-honda.com in Singapore who initially gave me to understand that they could get one easily, but are now frantically searching-----in Japan. Even with shipping, the price quoted is less than half what HUK said---£218 !!!
Removing the sensor and "cage" is relatively simple, but getting at the connector in the front bay entails releasing a handful of items just to get your hands at it.

What is it about this thread, new members and no introductions!

Pray tell kind sir, what variant is your stallion? Might also be worth PMing alnsx (sic) who is a Honda NSX tech on here with your info required?

I would think Dirk must have a few sensors kicking about?!

To remove the ABS sensor under the hood you simply unplug it, either near side or off side, there is no secret to it.

Sorry gentlemen, for creeping up on you with no introductions, but I am anxious to get a sensor before my MOT is due. I've owned the car since 2002 and it is my everyday mount,---the other being a replica Ferrari P-4, which really does stop the traffic due to the 747 sized rear wing. The NSX is a "targa", formula red, and gets me into trouble regularly with the law, but is the best car I've ever owned. I live in "God's Waitingroom" near Chrisrchurch, Dorset, and have yet to meet another NSX on the road in over five years of driving mine !
Still waiting to hear if Autodynamics can source one.

Ah ha - so here you are:)! Do you remember a very tall, overenthusiastic bloke in a camper van accosting you in Sainsbury's car park last summer? It's Luke, or Lankstarr on here and I remember him telling me how immaculate your car was on the phone, about 30 seconds after he left you!

It's Jim isn't it?

Good luck with the sensor - regards, Matt.

Is it drivers side or passenger side sensor you need ??

I have all 4 from the crashed car earlier in the year but need the front drivers side one for my car.
