Now I know we had this argument/heated debate before about the Veilside kit, there are still certain parts of it I like. OK I confess that after seeing the Lambo doors on that one at Japfest i've certainly changed my mind about that, but the side skirts/rear/headlights still look OK IMHO.

I don't mind that too much I have to confess, and really hate bodykits personally. Its not like the NSX is a tragically ugly car out of the box - I think they look quite good! Still, you have to admire the work thats gone into that.

The main problem with this body kit is the price, as fas as I know, the only people that do this kit in th UK is nemesis performance.

That's just the kit, not fiting and painting

When its slammed like some low-rider, as in that link, it just looks completely stupid.

Yeah I believe in that pic it is on airbag suspension. I'll see if I can find another pic of one similar in the states in a metalic red, looks pretty good.
This isn't the one I was thinking off, but another pic none the less

Also made by Veilside I believe... it's the plough front end that gives it away!

Is that the first time you lot have seen the VS kit? There are a few threads on Prime about them, I think it is horrid personally - it looses all its personality!

Me too, not really into body kits! It looks ok in the side profile, but not sure about the other angles! Have to say the rear butt in the main side shot looks like a Corvette C5 as my neighbour has a red one !:dunno:

Yeah it's a strange phenomenon, that body kit. You see it in some pictures and it looks a total mess, yet in some others it looks stunning. I guess the wheels and paint job help, the orange one dos look pretty sweett I think, nice headlights too.
I think this is the pic I was looking for originally

Looks like the front is sitting very high in that photo, but the one before you posted it looks good front on. A good thing as the side angle isn't good, although i think the front is quite good, the side and rear (including spoiler) is pretty awful. The Veilside wheels don't suit the car either, so it helps with the orange one that it has a better set.

In the first link (garaget?) it looks like a tacky attempt at making an NSX look like a Ferrari. Then again, some of the later posts, from the front anyway, do look like a unique and quite good-looking car. If this is the same kit then it looks like there's a fine line between 'wow!' and http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/inc/images/hurl.gif (http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/xforums/smilies.htm#)

I've seen this many times and just dont like anything about the bodykit. I would say that I think the headlamps, if a little less intrusive to the wing, do look better than the OEM 02+ that Honda delivered. That said, I stil prefer the pop-ups

Was this the orange one?
Any pictures of the orange car with CF bonnet?

Here is a mix of Socery and Veilside. Not the 360 Modena-esque bumper and suspiciously similar Ferrari front badge on the bonnet! I quite like it overall though...

I know what you mean, depending on wheels, ride height and colour, that kit looks so different. Either way I still don't know how they can justify the cost.
As for pop-ups, I like them too, give it the more "real NSX" look and I like mine.......................would like them even better if they bloody worked and I didn't have to wind up/down manually!!!!
