Chaps
any views on this one?
these problems were with the car when I bought it, tacho (main) is not clocking up, can this be diconnected?
rev counter not counting revs!

Sounds odd..
Does your speedo work? I always thought the odometer was driven from the speedo?

Hi,
Looking in the service manual, you either have a loose connector going into the instrument panel (this is a guess on my part) or one of the instrument panel circuit boards is a bit iffy (circuit board 'B' in the attached image..
Also attached is the procedure for removing the instrument panel (in case you don't fancy paying a dealer to look at it :))
