Track Helmet

OK so having a track near me, with lots of events there, I feel the need.

I need a track helmet. I know you can rent them, but I'll rather have my own.

Open face no comms.

What can I get and how much???

Without smashing my head through a car in every single helmet going it's hard to recommend 'the best.'

I have a basic Sparco Club helmet which is nice and comfy. They are extremely common, mainly down to the £70 price.

You might want to think about getting one with HANS posts because if you can can afford a HANS, you should get one eventually if not straight away.

I probably should use my full face and HANS all the time but for trackdays i like to be able to communicate and see well.

The Hans one looks quite nice, but as I am only starting this I will go for the cheap version.

I think my OMP open face was only £40.

Open face is nice, as you can breathe, and there's no need for a visor in a car. I also have a bike helmet which is full face, but the open one is far more pleasant.

Got mine from Demon Tweeks. They give you a measuring guide, and you can send them back if they don't fit.
