OK I am about 1000 miles away from my next service.
Well if I stay with the 6000 mile service interval then the next one is due soon.

The Cambelts were last changed on the 14th November 2002 at 36231 miles and the car was first registered on the 1st May 1997 so apart from missing the cars 10th birthday I think it's going to get its presents in the form of a 'big' service very soon.

So by my reckoning I am looking at Cambelts (possibly water pump) Sparkplugs etc etc.

So is it big service time at 10 years, or an intermediate again ??

I dont think the 10 year birthday is a landmark worth celebrating with a mega service. AFAIK it's just every six years (or 60k miles) so your's is due next year. Looks like a cheap(ish) intermediate service this year.... unless you've put 60k on the clock since the last cambelt???

It's a 6000 mile service interval though, so the 10th service will equate to a cambelt service I would have thought.

It's usually every 6000 or yearly, whichever comes first isn't it ??

Simon, it depend on when yours was registered? P reg or 1997? So that would mean every 6K miles or 12 months. The cambelt should be changed every five years or 60K miles, but if your car was registered in or after July 1998, then every 6 yrs or 72K miles since it was the introduction of new Euro Service Schedule. I would thought that your cambelt/water pump inspection should be changed 5 years from last one you had, rather 10 year or 120 months? Better to check with an trained NSX technician at one of the recognised Official NSX dealers to be safe. HTH
