damn, i knew i should have asked!
If you are keeping the OEM exhaust and headers, it is almost pointless except from a weight saving point.

What about 3.2 headers, decat adaptor pipes and original exhaust fro a 3.0? Is that pointless as well?

Not pointless, but not ideal. Backbox alone can mean 10 + BHP.

:laugh:. No James, but I do need a bigger garage!!
Wifey doesn't want to get rid off the Mini and she doesn't want to drive the Beemer. Beemer is the only 4 door car which I need and chariots me to work. The 'X' is for my enjoyment and to experience speed and handling but too nice to blow it around a track regularly......hence the newly acquired MR2. Note 3 RWD cars. :D
Ary, if the back box contributes to 10+ bhp and I heard that the 3.2 for the 3.0 header can contribute up to 10-15 bhp and the de-cat pipes can also give up to 5-10 bhp. The a change of the total system will give 25-35 bhp??!?
