During the week I decided to call HUK and find out once and for all, the questions that many of us talk about but never have the answers to.
By this I don't mean whether you've only got a finite amount of orgasms or if the Bonsia Kitten site is actually real.
No, the questions that have been at the top of my agenda for the last two years have been;
1. Why do all the NSX's that I've driven always snick into second when cold?
2. What is that annoying transmission clunk at low speeds?
The answer I got from the HUK technical guy (a long time NSX owner himself) are as follows;
Q1. Not sure, but they all do it and it's perfectly normal. Just slow down the gear changes into second for the first 5-10 minutes, then drive normally. However, Changing the oil may help and he recommends the newer Honda 'MTF3'.

Q2. The clunk is the take-up in the transmission and again perfectly normal. Some cars do it a little more than others but really no problem.
