Fair play.
In that case your car must be frickin fast as mine won't live with a mate's 360 and that in turn is slower than a 430.

Amo, you have a sub 4 seconds car now!? Official figs for 430 Spider to 60 mph is 4.1 secs !! Did you managed to drown out his screaming V8 with yor super dooper S/C V6 ! :D

You're obviously not trying hard enough ;) :)
IIRC your's is a LBB so should be a match for the 360. On the recent hoon with the Pistonheads boys, mine was easily a match for the 360 spider and the Gallardo, which was very satisfying, particularly as they commented they were not able to pull away :D
I think it may be different on long straight runs as the extra horses would have greater effect than tighter twisting A + B roads, but then driving fast in a striaght line isnt half as challenging or rewarding. Also, the 360 has the most impressive aero effects. Of all the cars I've seen in action on the public highway, this was clearly demonstrating the underbody aero-dynamics by the amount of debri it was lifting of the road and throwing out through the venturis . Be warned, dont get to close on dirty roads unless you want a free pebble dashing!!

Also as much as I love the induction roar of the X, hearing my ex neighbour's 360 Spider in full cry with its metallic shreak, is also a sound to to behold! Paul, I would love to have the same back box & quads tips you have one day! :)

What do you know, got Evo next to me and thought I've seen an ad in there that specialises in making bespoked stainless steel zorst, but do others one offs, and there called Hayward & Scott, hey presto its in basildon too, so its H & S!
Paul, yours is SS too I gather? :)

Thanks SS, but I 've looked and dare say it, touched the said tips at Castle Coombe for JapaneseFest, but did'nt aske Paul if they are ss! As H & S advertises as ss makers, then I assume they are all made of the stuff. They also make tanks, bespoked petrol tanks too! :)

I'll try harder ;) Having driven both down the same bit of road I'd say that the NSX is easier to drive quickly and much less twitchy but the 360's additional grunt really makes itself felt in a straightline.

I'll say. The 360 isn't that good without all it's computers and traction control on. You can tell when the driver has tried turning the computers off. They're the ones parked backwards in the hedge.

Apparently it's well known for its twitchiness at the limit compare to the 355! Even with its fancy under tray, down force and computers! Think it was the start of full body construction in aluminium for production Ferraris, I wander which supercar close to our hearts started it all off 9/10 years prior!

It always impressed me how stable the NSX was at high speed, it was totally composed and very easy to place on the road even when you were doing silly speeds (on a track of course ... officer).
Probably something to do with the rear wheels running so much toe-in they're virtually perpendicular to the direction of travel... </exaggerate>

And it's elongated arse, it's not just for puting your shopping in:D

Exaggerated rear toe-in = Stable high speeds = excessive rear wear! Doubt if I will get more than 3500 out of my RE010s! Shame as they are like gold dust now! :D
