That a 3.2 since he stated its the 2001 version and mentioned its got 290BHP? He stated its dual/twin cam but the X is quad cam? What does he mean when it won't play your CDs, but its a bargained price supercar!
Yes typical yank reviewer!

0-60 is meant to be faster, as the 2nd gear being lower it's geared better for doing 0-60 dashes.
UK magazines are typically too lazy to research this out, and still quote and print the original 3.0l times, for the 3.2.
At least this review dynoed the car. No guessing the engine produces more power than quoted for no reason.

I think this NSX had been "optimised" by Honda in much the same way as the 02 example tested by Autocar that did 0-60 in 4.8 and 0-100 in 10.9 and reached 172 round Millbrook (near 180 on the flat). When you consider mine only did 161 at Bruntingthorpe a few weeks back, I think these road test examples have more power than standard - the NA2 Type R did 0-100 in nearer 12 seconds in the Autocar 0-100-0 challenge in 2004 - I assume this was a private car

All NSX's only come with a Tape Player / Radio as standard (well unless you select the delete option on the S/R) the CD changer is an optional extra.

Simon,
I think towards the end of 2004 the CD player became standard

Only the CD changer though ??
Even the 55 plate cars have a tape head unit.

I always suspected that I had a blueprinted Type-R engine back there!
