I was going to wait to post pics until I had it in my driveway, but as I'm still vetting it... thought I'd pick your brains.
O.K. a few of you will know this car.
I'm going down Thursday morning to give a thorough once over (on the lift) with Richard.
Anything you can tell about it's history; any known problems. things I should look at ; may need to sort out?
if you have anything short of excellent, smile enhancing info, send me a PM; so that I can wimper in peace.
picking it up next week!!

Very jealous, just couldn't justify changing or having yet another car sat in my garage.

I have some info for you...I hate you! I'm soooooo jealous, that car looked very very nice at Japfest, except for when Mr Chan was pulling doughnuts on the track. Still the rear blow-out saved him further embarrassment.
:D

That is a high maintenance car. It only gets washed with Evian.:)

If that's the one at Chiswick Honda - you lucky, lucky person. I offered one of my children as Part Ex along with my insurance payout for that beauty. Apparently, Chiswick don't take anything that eats as Part Ex. The car is fabulous. The colour would not be everyone's first choice but I like it a lot. Enjoy!

The doughnuts were nothing compared to when he had it up on two wheels down the main straight ;)
So I would check for new tyres and any suspension damage ;)
Not that any of us are jealous.
All the best in your new ride, Paul.

It's not a bad colour, but I prefered it when it was blue.

Blue? Oh that's right it was blue. I was just thinking back to when it was red.
Cheers,
James.

You can't blame the guy for respraying it after all that oxidization came through, it looked terrible.
Maybe he thought that the orange would hide the rust better when it comes back through;)
One of the best in the country mate - enjoy (and keep the RX-7 :D)

I think you're all being mean and jealous. Stop it.
That car goes really well. Certainly flew past me on the M4 like I was standing still....and I wasn't hanging about either.:)

I love this thread, starts with a beautiful car and a serious question - ends with lots of sillyness...the best of NSXCB!

I think I may have made all yellow owners nervous. Better go out now and check for fish in the glovebox.

Only if they are Targas didn't you notice the yellow roof - that must narrow it down significantly. I even 'Googled' the guy's name it would be good to contact him and find out the reg. I would imagine that one was broken for parts anyway...:(
TheQuietOne

Actually you wouldn't lift a Targa by the roof surely?

I'm afraid I sat in your car and trumped in it! Not really! but I had the pleasure of indeed sitting in the car and helping the previous owner put the Targa back on when it rained and take it off again when it stopped at JapaneseFest at castle Coome in May this year. Also fixed his sticking CD cassette holder in the boot (ta TQO) and notice his ariel did'nt go all the way down back then! Having said that, its absolutely gorgeous in metal, I initally had slight reservations about the colour IOP, but in real, its lovely! Enjoy your new P & J! Oh by the way the previous owner a business man from China, I believe has returned to China on a slow boat ! :D
(No disrespect to those who are Chinese) :)

Lovely looking car that NSX, but I preferred it when it was two NSXs. Think the back half is a 91 auto.

Found this old thread whilst looking for details on extended warranties from Honda. Worth a read or a re-read :D
Does anyone know if I can still stick a warranty on my car as it's under 8 years old? Anyone shopped around? I seem to recall prices varied dramatically between different dealers.

Does the car not currently need to have a warranty before you can extend it further?
Most dealers on any model car will give an extended warranty, but only if the original warranty from day one has been extended and kept extended before they ever run out.
Ive also heard of the odd manufacture giving a warranty to a car that lapsed its time, but only after a 100 point inspection and full service at the dealer.
