Keeping brake pads cool

Dear NSXers

Is there an inexpensive yet effective way of keeping the brake pads cool. If so, what is it, and how do I do it?

Think the cheapest option is to remove the splash guards. Ask Paul (Seninha), Kevin and Ary?, since they've mentioned cooling options before. The only problem is more potential corrosion though? HTH
