I found it rather numb and uneventful tbh. :(

If you are looking at throwing Honda £18k for one consider a £2-3k increase and get the FD2 imported from Japan. That is the true 2007 Type R. :cool:

Ive drove one, but cant remember enough to give u an accurate feel about it. They have grown on me considerably. Ok their are considerably better drivers cars out there but if u want a decent enough built quick hot hatch, thats tidy enough handling and easy enough to comute in and the odd track day they are great imo. With good safety and reliabilty etc..

Lisa took one out for a test drive and was happy to get back into the DC2.
The FN2 (new Civic type R) is more of a VTi than a type R, if you want a true type R then I'd have a look at the DC2, DC5 or FD2 (Old Integra (UK or JDM), new Integra (JDM only), new Civic (JDM only 5 door).

This would win for me for around £20k and can be bought via Bazza.

Now thats looks cool in Championship white and fours doors to boot! For around £20K, is that CF in the middle of the rear spoiler!? If so, thats even more of an absoulte bargain! When VBH on 5th gear tested this against the normal UK spec around the newly revised Anglesey circuit, it was over 3 seconds faster!
