Recent magazine tyre test

Autocar and EVO recently did a group tyre test. I'm not sure whether it will be relevant to any NSX model years but thought I would post just in case

EVO:

225/45/R17

Autocar

225/45/R17
235/45/R17

To summarise, the Goodyear Eagle F1 won all three tests - if anyone needs more info let me know before I chuck out Autocar

Thanks, yes Evo test winner was the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric, not standard GSD3. I checked the availability on Goodyear's website, but the Asymmetric is not available for standard oem sizes or yet! Although the GSD3s seems to be a popular choice here. HTH

What car was used for the Autocar test? A FWD Golf GTI Annivesary was used in the Evo test. Thanks

It was the Goodyear asymmetric in Autocar as well.

235/45 R17 was Mondeo 2.0 TDCi
225/45 R17 was Merc C350

Thanks, can't believe that a standard Mondeo now has 235s and wider than the three star too!
