NSX VIN plate.

Can anyone tell me which way the VIN plate under the bonnet reads.What i mean is are the top of the letters and numbers facing the cabin or the road?
I saw one the other day where the top of the letters was facing the road???? IT looked upside down to me.

Mine reads correctly when standing in front of the car, i.e. bottom of the letters facing the road.

As Dr Spock would say its logical that the VIN faces the road! I can't understand why it would face the the cabin as it would be more difficult to see! Unless its been involved in a RTA and when put back together, somebody put VIN plate the wrong way!!

Turns out it's actually the right way:dunno:
I spoke to Ivan at Chiswick and he informed me that the later cars do have them upside down.Strange.

Mine is a 2001 car and the VIN plate is 'upside-down'!
