So my beloved NSX finally failed an MOT after 4+ years/40k miles of ownership - to be fair its only track rod end & o2 sensor.....

Is there any point trying to source the track rod end from the states (is there an upgrade aftermarket item?) considering they are £60+VAT from HUK.

O2 sensors are £270+VAT, but IRO £75 from the states I understand - does anyone know best place to source these, and is there any difference between f & r sensors?

Many thanks in advance!

Ordered. Hopefully will show up quickly - I've only got a few days to get it in for a retest.... is it easy to fit?

they are easy! the hardest bit it getting the old ones out! i think i used a crowsfoot tool, tho I did borrow 2 off the local garage, and can't remember which I used!!!! go give them a good spray with WD40, and get a head start!!

sparkplugs.com were quick delivering to me!

OK cool. Sounds like you're saying its basically unscrew the old one, screw in the new one right? Where is the front one?

in the front manifold! you have to get under the car, and look up the front of the engine you'll see it! (follow the exhaust tube up!) it is awkward, but once shifted is straight forward.

yes, 'just' unscrew the old one, put some copperslip on the treads of the new one, and screw it in.

the ngk 24172 are a straight plug in swap

Nice one, thanks for you help. MOT shouldn't be too far off then, will probably get track rod from Honda @ £60+

one thing to note... the connector in the o2 sensor clips to a mount on the engine, THEN the loom wire plugs into that.
