Can anyone tell me how the leather on the door cards worked?
Did they all come with 'ruffled leather'? Or is it only on cars in a certain age range? Did Honda ever sell a smooth leather door car interior?
Did the interior change much from NA1 to NA2 to 02+?
TIA

02+ interior has perforated leather seats and steering wheel, different gear knob and silver painted centre console.
Not sure about the ruffled leather door cards but the later ones might be smooth on the 02 as well.....I'll leave that one to someone else....
I think that perforated came in 2001 or 2000. It is an easy fix mind.

So were all the previous NSXs sold with ruffled leather? In other words, did the pre 02 cars have ruffled door cards and post 02 have smooth?
NSX-R, Type S and S Zero did not have ruffled leather door card inserts. Either in late 2000 or Early 2001 perforated leather was introduced and ruffled leather discontinued.
Hope that helps,

Mine is an early 2000 model with perforated leather and I'm sure Paul 98 and Simon 97 have perforated as well.

Hmmn... so I wonder if there was a change in parts supplier or a reason why some cars have the non-ruffled leather and others do?
My preference it for smooth leather. :)

Paul I'm not sure that Simon's 97 and Paul's (Senninha) 98 has the perforated leather? as my 99 has ruffled! Maybe perforated only started in 2000 like yours?
