91 NSX after new wheels

I've got a 91 NSX and am looking to replace my OEM wheels I would like to keep it fairly standard looking and was thinking of going for the later wheels.

Do both the 94>9? and later ones both fit straight on without modifications?

If so does either give better performance / grip and does anyone have any pics of each?

The 94> wheels in the 16 & 17 inch sizes fit without modification.

The 2002+ wheels won't without a 5mm spacer for the front.

You may find tyre availability an issue with the 16/17 wheels now. I think there are more tyres available for the original 15/16 ones, strangely enough.

Are SO2 /03/0?s available on the origional 15/16 wheels.

Alternatively what else is recommended?

they stick like sh*t to a blanket.... especially on original 15 16 rims

Slieve Croob? Not sure if the SO2, SO3 were or was made for 15 & 16's, but maybe for 16 & 17s, but have read they are phasing these out anyway!

Jamie, arent the Toyos R888 a track tyre that legal for the roads? Awesome dry capabilities, but very little grip when wet.

I wouldn't mind eitehr, I know I have been bitching about new wheels for a while now, but before I left I noticed I have a crack on one of the rear wheels, so now it is not only for aesthetic reasons, but I need them.

Just a thought but have you contacted Dirk (NSX Spare parts dealer in Germany) for replacement or upgraded OEM rims?

If he has them you might need to refurb but his prices are usually competitive.
