Just to let members know, I thought Id start up a new thread in relation to the repairs on the Yellow NSX I've purchased, Ive had some helpful replys from other threads so far , so if any one out there can help by selling me parts it would be great.
Ive been restoring a Delorean for the last 10 years so hope this car doesnt end up the same.

Hi Steve , Im not sure but the exhaust may be OK but one of the stainless exit tips is a bit duffed, do you have one of them, If the exhaust is damaged I'll need it

Parts needed so far are the obvoius ones like
Rear bumper
Light
Suspenion hub carrier
Top wishbone
Exhaust exit tip
side wall of the boot compartment ( part of frame)
various small brackets that hold bumper to body and valence on etc
All on the rear right hand side

Ill update this list as project developes

Great spirit in the owners out there, Im very grateful for the support and advice, As a result the cars bits are complete only 3 days into owning it ata a cost of about 2000, so, not so sad in the end, but may just need the rear panel and side wall panel insided the boot, but will see when the damaged bits are all off this weekend.

Hi Lee,

Where are you geographically? Might be someone in your area who can assist as you put it right with letting you look at what things should look like on their car - this seems especially useful on an NSX! Good luck I'm sure you'll have a cracking car by the time you finish it certainly was before the truck had it's pound of flesh!

yeah I had to get a VIC on my car, you have to book in advance but when you turn up it only takes them about 20 mins.

Hi Members, Been working in the car abit in the last week and have had some luck with the damage not being as bad as I thought, but going to get the car placed on a jig to check measurements are correct this week,
I have also had some bad luck withn a supplier in the UK and feel it worth making members aware of the situation incase they encounter the same problem.
I will post a new thread on the subject and perhaps the awareness may keep the company in line in the future, the wordis *** parts

Just thought I'd show the members out there the progress on the repairs , All straight forward now, just in the process of painting the replacement quarter and other bits that need painting. Here's some pics of the frame repairs , I have made the replacement panels by hand and im pleasede with the results, I wanted to see if it could be done so I spent 4 days making press tools up for the repairt sections and Im glad its worked and saved about 3k on chassis sections from honda.

Hi Everyone, Since January the repairs have been done, ended up painting the whole car, basically just because I got very fussy with it but at last its been VIC checked , Moted and now on the road, Its been an 18 year wait for me to own an NSX and to finally drive one , its amazing,

Anyone who had one in 1990 at the beginning must have been knocked out by the car as now Ive driven one myself I think its still an incredible car today.
