Does anyone know how to remove the handbrake button? I noticed you can buy these seperate and was going to change it to a black or a billet one.

By the look of the manual it should unscrew, there is a spring behind it though so watch out ;)

Thanks Simon! That worked a treat, although its almost impossible to remove the button without doing it damage, its very difficult to grip, but new one is quite cheap anyway so will have to think of a method of re-installing without damage!!

I bought an original black button from Honda to try first before going for the billet, it cost me £8.00, there are 2 colors, the chrome look, and the black button which I think was on later cars.

AHHH I see, I had it in my head that you bought an after market one, I didn't realise it's a Honda OEM one.
Cheers

Yeah I bought an OEM Honda one first, as I knew after playing around with the one already on my car that it was going to get damaged in the process of taking it off. But that tool Paul posted the link too will help in installing a new one so I'm going to try it with the new button then buy a BILLET button from SOS:
