View Full Version : Check the Steering Tie Rods

If your NSX older than about 10 Years you check the Steering Tie Rods and Steering end Racks !I have change this Parts and I feel a difference with the new Steering Tie rods and Steering end Racks. I can this only recommend !:) Regards Greg.

Tie rod end do not wear out due to age, more due to km driven. Unless you had some play in them there's no need to change them, just a waste of money. :cool:

Not so sure i agree with this.ALL rubber perishes over time.Yes the amount of milage matters,but so would age unless the car had been kept in a de-humidified garage from new.

there's no rubber in tie rod ends refered to in this thread. suspension bushes yes, but not these. ( and i realise the boots are rubber! :))

you will feel a difference with new ones, only if the old ones are knackered! (technical term! and if knackered they would fail an MOT)

Ahh,i see.My mistake.I looked at the photo and thought these parts were rubber,because in the next photo they are compressed and out of shape.
