Ok so after my burst coolant hose, I eventually got got the chance to replace all the engine bay hose's. It was quite easy to install the new ones, hardest part is those bloody honda hose clips!!
Anyway I'm guessing at this point its probably a good idea to flush out the system and refill with new coolant. I read that its best to raise the car at the rear to the highest point possible before refilling, just wondering if anyone has any more pointer? or ever done this themselves?

Just be careful how you raise the car as theres a lot of nice alli that doesn't like sitting on trolley jacks!

Hi,

Thanks for that, I have a large rubber bump stop that we use on the forklifts at work, it about 9" X 9" and roughly 5" thick, looks something like a red paving brick but totally rubber. Hopefuly that will do the trick.

I did it myself and the car was 100% horizontally. Works also but needs a little bit more coolant after the thermostat opened.
