Personally I think 22,000 yen for a set of NSX snow chains is a bit steep!

Personally I think 22,000 yen for a set of NSX snow chains is a bit steep!

That's only £105.00. Imagine if they were made by Golden Calf special!

I wonder how easy they are to get hold of as I need one for mine in 8 months and three weeks

Noel,unless you diconnect the passenger airbag,you can't use one.That's why i was supprised that they list one.I guess it's not illegal to have a front seat,child seat on a vehicle equiped with an airbag in Japan.

I thought we had a switch

I think the switch in the glove box is to switch off the boot release button,so you can keep the boot locked during servicing etc.

Jaytip, it is a forward facing child seat that they are offering, it is a rear facing child seat that you can not use in the NSX.

I thought you couldn't put ANY child seat in the front of a car with a passenger airbag?????:dunno:

I had a look through the manual last night and it was saying that it wasn't recommended. I'm wonder if you put the seat all the way back whether the airbag would come out that far. When I "tested" an airbag in my old 306 Rallye at Bruntingthorpe many years ago, I don't recall it coming out that far.
The question is, would you feel safe taking your son/daughter for a ride (when big enough to go in a forward facing seat), and as importantly, would your other half allow it?
