This has got to be one of the best looking NSX in UK.
Well with a quote like that they deserve it, at best it looked a heap.
At worst it needed torching :(

Thats funny chaps looking at p/x my R34gtr 650bhp (B3AST as number plate, was also at JapShow on sunday) for this as i've always liked NSX's and like my cars to be different, but he'll be giving me car and cash my way.
But not sure on this F-matic gearbox seems bit strange to me, any ideas if they are good or not?
Spoke to the bloke today he likes my GTR and i've arranged to view his on tuesday.
Is this car know to be a heap then?
Thanks
Mark

Well unless he has done a lot (LOT) of work on the car since last year then I would expect a good price.
I would not touch the car with yours.
Not my cup of tea at all, also Auto is down on power against a manual and it's a 3.0 against a 3.2
But if it floats your boat then why not.
Against your R34 it will feel veeeerrrrryyyyy sllllloooooowwwww.

Thankyou didn't realize its a 3.0 as it didn't mention it on pistonheads advert, now realize all autos seem to be 3.0L
Yes was going for something a bit more tame and classy look, than my mad gtr, plus doing house extension so need some extra cash, but still wanted something nice.
Thanks for the reply, as now i have alot better understanding of what its about.

Thank you for all the kind comments guys and I know Styling modification on NSX is not everyone's cup of tea and certainly not in the UK anyway.
It did have lambo door hindges but it has been reverted back to the factory hindge as it was a real pain in the bum to work with (if it wasn't not for the show reason, I would not have bothered).
WE all love our pride and joy and i wouldn't say that another member's car is a heap for any reasons.
I still cannot understand why Styling an NSX does not fit in the UK culture, where its popular over the rest of the world.
Thank you

Yes and forgot to add, that is my car that I am selling on PT
In case people wonder why I made the above statement.

Each to their own, however when you start saying..........
This has got to be one of the best looking NSX in UK.
Then you unfortunately will get bad comments from other owners as basically you have said your is better than theirs which in my opinion is soooo not true.
One of the best, yes ignoring most of the 300 or so other cars in the country.

I am sorry and do excuse my english not being my first language,
When I did the ad, I did it very carefully trying not to upset others, hence I put down "one of the best looking NSX" meaning that is one WITHIN the best looking NSXs in the market. NOT meaning, this is " the best looking" NSX......
If you know what I mean..
But eh, I wouldn't worry it now, everyone entitles to their own view ;)
Just chill and enjoy Sunday, its a nice day now.

In fairness, This site does lean towards ripping a new A-hole in anything that doesn't fit it's taste.
I kinda liked a few things about it..
except thought a little OTT from the rear & not a big fan of lambo doors on any car except the 56 merc. ( is that right?)
Good on you for keep yer head! hopefully you'll stick around
If you were in Cali... this car would be sold already, eh?
Who did the body mods? How does the IOP respray stack up against OEM?

Marky! Drive it and see what you think. I went on a track day and a R34 GTR didn't really have anything on me. [ just a lot of sooty black smoke on boost :) ]
I outran it on the back straight at Bedford twice.. but maybe it wasn't running right.
I had a R33 GTsT and it was fun.. but a plastic toy car compared to the classy, well balanced Machine that the nsx is to drive. maybe a GTR feels a lot faster than a GTsT
I took my 500 bhp 300zx out today... and although powerful, not as fun to drive as my NSX!

personally i think it's one of the better looking wide body kits, because you have to look twice to notice it. glad the lambo doors are gone, as they did look a bit... well... iffy! and the lambo door kits never actually get the door out of the way anyway!!!
Still, i'm not sure why some mods are frowned upon, and other, equally dubious ones are 'allowed'....????.. at the end of the day, it's your car and you can do what you like.
did like the Japfest 5 spokes tho... :-)
ps.... on the hot-rod forums they have effectively banned slagging of other ppls cars and some of those really are dogs!!!! :-)

This is quite a different comparison though.A 650BHP skyline is going to murder an automatic NSX.
Cheers,

Ok. didn't realize the 650 bhp part. Standard GTR is only running around 400, and that isn't often realized on the Dyno.
Maybe it's super-laggy
In which case the responsive lower rpms of the nsx would be refreshing?
At the end of the day he came on here genuinely wanting to go check out the car. The current owner sounds pretty reasonable also. Rather than tell him reasons he shouldn't..
I would rather give him the message.
"go do it, you might really like what you find" - Like I did.
....
I currently own a very high power Nissan and can say that the NSX is so, so, so much the better ownership. and more practical car.
The Nissan is more like a trophy. When you evaluate ownership over years it comes to a constant "work in progress"
I spent another 2 hours at Surrey RR on Saturday with a MOTEC specialist who came down from Watford.
Kinda fun and part of the ownership. but also gets a little old, year after year.
Get into high BHP and get ready for endless tuning / tweaking every 6 months.
Constantly trying to get the boost and fueling right.
That's in between the times that something breaks under the stress.
Or maybe the 300zx's aren't nearly as stable as the GTR's
Compare that to the average ownership story of an NSX , Marky ? = no competition.
