Took the NSX out at the weekend and got some nice pics with the R spolier now colour coded to the car which i think looks a lot better than all black.

Also now paid for my carbonfibre engine cover so should hopefully have that soon.

Then its off the the paintshop to have the stone chips sorted then the retrimmers to have the driver seat mended.

Then finally i need the alloys refurbed as one is slightly kerbed.

Since i bought it ive had the cam belt service done and a new window regulator, the car has been superb and is a joy to take out.

I hope to remove the 2mills stickers this weekend and fit my new number plates too.

Looking nice, spoiler looks different, would need to see it in the flesh to make a proper judgement, jury out at the moment. Good effort though.

Thanks had the oem spoiler on whilst the R one was getting painted and it really put me off the back of the car, it just looked too tame? as its always had the black spoiler when ive had it, I think it suits it due to the black roof and lowers the profile of the car, cant decide what colour to get the wheels, thinking dark grey like the Evo MR alloys

Hi Donna,

Your NSX is looking very nice and I like the originality of the rear spoiler, a nice detail that works well. Talking of detail, and its purely personal preference, but I would consider returning the lower bumper center section to black. For me the current look is just too much Yellow.

Ref your wheels, when I refurbed my 02's I wanted the NSX-R grey finish. After talking to several dealers, I was given the Honda color NH537, referred too as Pewter Grey in the UK. IMO, this would work well on your car without being too dark or too far from OEM.

HTH, regards Paul

Very nice pics on a sunny day with lovely surroundings. I really like the way you have painted the rear wing spoiler, different but looks well! :) I agree with Paul about lower rear valance back to black. Did you know I had your back lights in my house, collected them for DTM from another member, tried them on my car! Not really! They were boxed! :D The car looks great, a testament to its previous owner.

Looks clean guys, shes had some TLC and spit and polish.

Liking the spoiler and as ive seen it in the flesh i can tell more. Pics are hard but in the flesh the spoiler does make it look more aggressive at the back. I know what u mean donna about tame with OEM.. both nice in their own ways tho.

Window aside glad to hear she is doing well :)

PS- u get pulled with the old plates then?

I agree with other comments on here. The spoiler looks good but the number plate surround back to black or an 02 upgrade??
Nice photos of a good looking car.

Cheers,

Ivor.

Hi Paul thanks for the code the colour looks perfect

With regards the rear section, the car is hopefully going in to the best bodyshop in Central Scotland to have the front stone chips fixed so i was already getting the back bit put back to black and im having the front bottom below the number plate area done black too to try to tie it in.

Very rough idea of what i mean at front and get bottom lip done at the same time

DTM looked after the car well , was really nice to buy a car off a nice genuine enthusiast rather than a random person who couldnt care less:laugh:

Loving the car, its the first car in years that i want to keep hold of even after nearly 6 months owning

I have paid for but haven't recieved my Type-R wing, (no brake light) yet and was considering painting it completely GPW to match the rest of the car and hadn't even considered painting it your way until now.
It will be done! That's the dogs bollicks!! I'm having my Type-R hood painted GPW and I think the standard Type-R wing is just to much black for a white car. Your colour scheme is brilliant!
Thanks for the idea and I hope you don't mind me nicking it.
I painted my rear valance GPW to match the rest of the car as well when I was doing my Type-R wheel copies and personally I think it looks the business painted to match the car colour. I also did my front spoiler lip GPW.
Hopefully soon i'll be able to get someone with a camera to teach me how to post some pics. I'm sure not nearly as nice as your surroundings but pics none the less.

P.S. I still haven't been able to locate a headlight washer system but I will have the nozzles GPW as well when I get my grubby mits on one.

Cheers

HI Donna, very nice pics and I think you have started a trend with the rear spoiler paint ( even I never thought of doing that!!)

Are you still doing the HTUK meets?

Hi Donna,

Good to see the old girl is still being looked after, was nice to sell it to Dan who appreciated the car and now great to see another owner taking care of it.
Hope the number plates didn't get you in trouble, I see you have changed them to a 'legal' format. I got quizzed by the DVLA when buying it as to the reason for purchase and that they can take it off me if I mis-represent it :(! Boo! (never caused me any trouble tho....phew)

Did Dan give/fwd you any pics of it at Castle Coombe, as it featured on the second row of the big group pic which had amazing coverage UK wide even as far down as local papers in Devon where I am:rolleyes:!! Will happilly fwd if you like.

Anyway hope you have many years of fun with it....

Best Regards

Mark

Hi Mark, sorry not been on much and looked at this thread, more pictures would be excellent!

We got pulled over once in the first few weeks of having the car and given a warning to get legal plates on.

When the car was in getting the stone chips etc painted i stuck new miss spaced plates back on :), its worth taking the chance

Here are some pictures from a little drive up the Dukes Pass area of Callender, Scotland today, its not been out much over winter so its nice getting out in it again.

The car is going like a dream

Your cars looking fantastic, took mine in yesterday to have some paintwork done (plus a couple of other little details ;-)), & I hope you don't mind, but I'm copying your idea on the spoiler, just love the way it makes the colours flow through the car.
Agree with Eclipse, the engine cover looks pretty special too, but I won't copy that, wouldn't want to hide any of my bling.

Well if all goes well I will have a new spoiler in a few months and I will be stealing that idea too, but with a twist!

Thanks guys for your kind comments. The styling of the carbon engine cover has yellow at each side however the glass middle is left as was so you can see the bling. Unfortunately i don't have much bling to show but the glass cover will make sure i keep the engine bay as clean as possible. It's taken me a few months to get the pics up but i am happy with the spoiler and the engine cover. :)

Car looks fab in bonny Scotland! I do like the rear spoiler, the engine cover looks very different & special at that too! Oh, also noticed you painted black the front lower bumper piece, which sits above the lower lip spoiler, looks GTR-ish! Your car certainly looks bespoked & great! :)

:) Hi Dan Hope the cottage is coming along nicely and you are good. We are both doing well thanks. The Mugan discs are not on yet and we had the calipers painted the same red when we were having the wheels painted Honda Cosmic Grey. I am loving NSX ownership as most of our runs at the weekend cover short motorway then mainly good country runs. I can't wait for the Spring to get out more in the car. Having done a few things to improve her lately, we are now just enjoying the car and keeping her looked after. I wish i had bought one years ago. We are looking to go down South and meet some of the members and their cars this year.
