Great cars, especially the racing Mac F1 in Gulf colours, hopefully I will see one in the flesh one as my fave car, apart from my own silver beauty!
Thats the TWR Jag that won Le Mans with Andy wallace that was in Evo mag, apparently worth 4 or 5 sqillions!

A Few snaps I took over the weekend - starting with the edifice Land Rover built on Lord March's front lawn, along with the Le Mans class winning AM. And some oik's climbing on the 'sculpure'!
And the trials rider Dougie Lampkin....

Vintage top fuel (that will be nitrous methanol then....£19 per gallon..they got though 1000 gallons of the stuff over the weekend!!!!) dragsters - fired up twice a day for 'Cacklefest' - incredible (ear damaging) noise!!!!
Interestingly (I thought) - they have to sart the engines using standard-ish petrol, before introducing the nitros methanol.
Airbus A380 flying at the festival on Saturday.
John Cleleand looking shocked when confronted by the damage he has just inflicted on the Vauxhall touring car!!!

'Interesting' firey moment as an early Lola Indy car is started in the pits....
Driver of the weekend - Justin Law, hustled Jaguar XJR 8/9 up the (1.6 mile) hill in an astonishing 44.1 seconds, travelling at 156 mph as he crossed the finishing line!!!
Trophy won by McLaren in last weekends British GP.

Ah-ha!
That is a good question......I had never seen or heard of the car / manufacturer before the weekend, but I was rather taken with it.
The companies philosophy is to produce a luxury high performance car not simply through heaps of power (though it has plenty) but also by keeping weight down - sound priciples IMHO.
The car / company - it's an Artega GT.
