I have it on good authority that an NSX has produced 321 bhp at Surrey Rolling Road. Roll on the next TDI shootout.

TDI is our bench mark ;)
SRR figures don't count.

Surrey's quite near me but I'm pretty sure I've known where my NSX has been lately;)

Agreed. Having said that, SRR has been pretty good for consistency - I got almost identical figures on two different occasions. 321 bhp, if confirmed (should equate to >280 at TDI), should be interesting at VMax, should the mystery person be that way inclined.

When is VMax and are you going to coordinate the NSX entries?
Paul?

More than happy to do this but I will check with VMAX organiser about how he wants to play it. For those that haven't got a Pistonheads account and are keen to attend VMAX, it may be worth creating one.

An on tune E46 M3 gives 335 bhp at SRR, so assuming the NSX has less weight and lower CDA, I think this should be a reasonable scalp.

We need to get the high flow cats fitted first as this should hopefully give us an extra couple of bhp.

You'll need to squeeze every last drop out if you want to compete with the pre-facelift 3.2's:cool:

Not if the alleged 321bhp contender is an 02 facelift :)

Whats with all the secret squirrel stuff?

Is the owner a member, if so who. I'm sure we'd all be interested in the mods that have produced this number.

As for consistency at SRR, that could be disputed. When NSXCB had its first trip there, there were several people who witnessed a 332bhp number for one of the NSX in attendance!

Apperently a glitch in their software so the number has not been used in any reports. Neither has it been re-run to validate.

You are right on both counts mate, don't even ask!!!

I have edited for a more PC one.

BTW I was not talking about the posters but about the story itself of a stock NSX with 320BHP. If I offended anyone please accept my apologies.

Cheers,

Ary
