Morning guys!! after lusting after an NSX for many years and being tempted by papa lazarous fantastic example at Japfest earlier in the year, ive decided to take the plunge today!
Im after an NSX Type-S or Type-R...altho a 3.2 coupe would also fit the bill!!
If anyone is interested, i am selling (or would PX for NSX) my late 1997 Nissan R33 GTR Vspec which is a very rare Middlehurst UK car (083 of 100 made) shes absolutley mint, 2 previous owners, 30,000 miles and recently serviced by TSL Motorsport - all oils, TRUST cam belt & new aux belts, oil filter and platinum NGK plugs. The car is standard apart from Blitz SUS induction kit, mines centre pipe and HKS silent power exhaust. She also has some carbon aero parts (spoiler blade and Nismo front splitter). I recently added some new Volk CE28n's with dunlop sportmaxx tyres - the wheels and tyres together cost £3000.
Im a part time paint correction specialist / detailer so as you can expect...shes spotless.
ANY inspection welcome.
please pm me if your interested.
Car is located in nottingham.
kind regards,
Benjamin.
mods - move where you feel is best??? not sure this thread is relevant to this section!!?
cheers.

Good luck with that.....
There are 2 NA1 type R's, 1 NA2 type S and 1 NA2 type R in this country unless anyone knows differently.
None of which are for sale.
Plus if they were at £17k then there would be a rather large queue.
Any pictures of your R33 then, would that be £17k plus the R33, you should be able to get a reasonably good 3.2 Coupe for that.

Hi Simon, thanks for the reply.
crikey seems like i have to broaden my request then!!?
looking through the forum i have decided that 17k isnt enough for what i require so i guess 20k is a more likely budget.
3.2 manual targa or coupe would be nice tho...dont mind having a bit of paintwork to do as i do it myself (along with my sprayer). altho as mint as poss would be preffered obviously. As long as its mechanically sound.
Im going to stay on here and buy from a member (as i did with my GT-R).
Its the value of the NSX inc my GT-R if anyone where interested? shes roughly worth 16k or so.
ill post some pics up this week!!
The GTR has been garaged all its life and comes with all the original parts (wheels, exhaust, induction kit, splitter, spoiler blade) etc.
reluctant to sell and its only you guys that know about it for the time being...otherwise ill get a load of 14yr old requesting wallpaper sized pics of her lol.
Mate you might be better off selling the GTR and getting more money together for a 3.2.
Cheers,
Ary

HI, welcome to the site, good luck with your search, you won't be sorry.
PS might have to have a chat with you about paint, my car could do with some TLC in that department.

HI and welcome,
If you want to tune then generally the 3.0 offers more flexibility but note that the later ones have the drive by wire throttle which adds some complications. 3.2 tuning is limited to intake/headers/exhaust but you should get around 300hp depending on sytem choice and mileage (they usually imprive with mileage)
A 3.2 targa is going to be difficult to both find and get for less than 25k. There is a low mileage 3.0 T in the for sale section at the moment. Its a full history car with a fe simple and nice mods which might be of interest?Coupes will be available and preferred by some, they will certainly be more to choose from.
If you see one you like, feel free to post for feedback as most cars in the UK will be known to someone here.
Happy hunting
regards, Paul

I've also learned the hard way that these cars just do not depreciate in value and still command a decent price when all other cars seem to drop like stones :)

many thanks for your input and help guys!! most gratefully recieved! as with my car, i had to wait well over a year and spent 100's searching the UK for a genuine minter. So i know im in for a wait with an NSX too - ideally a 3.2 early manual coupe...i take it theyre very slightly stiffer than the Targa?
i wont be posting pics of the GTR as so to keep the forum clean.
Mutley, yes no problem chap. it would be cheeky of me to post my company email so pm me and ill send you the relevant email address. But just so you know, i do painting and detailing - clear-coat leveling/refinishing, laquer scratches, bird marks, swirls etc etc etc.
thanks again chaps!
