Hi everyone,

I've been taking in a lot of new information this weekend while looking further into NSX's!!!!

One thing that sticks in my mind when considering an older model are the problems with the early cars suspension geometry. I can remember reading a long time ago that the early cars ate tires (about 1000-2000 miles max). I know they changed this on later models but not sure which year?

Can anyone shed any light on which year this changed and also if the early cars were recalled to fix this problem?

Cheers
Nathan

See nsxprime FAQ

I doubt that any pre 93 NSX has not had the geometry realigned at least once during its life. The suspension is fully adjustable and you can go for an even milder rear toe than the 93+ recommendation if tyre life is that important to you. My 92 has been set to 4mm total rear toe.

Thanks Mike, thats a real help. Just one of my considerations on whether to buy a nice early model or spend more and get a later car.
