Hello,

I'm French, i don't find a yellow NSX in France, and i'm ready to buy a car with the steering wheel on the bad side.

I'm looking for a NSX but a yellow one, with the black top.
Price: around 20000£ more if the condition of the car is perfect.

UK NSX only, no acura, no import.

Send me pictures and price by email.

Is this a sign of our pound being so worthless that the UK is considered somewhere to buy cars from?

I think there are some yellow NSXs in the Netherlands, of course you will need to convince the owners there to sell.

I blame UK foreign policy for the left hand drive right hand drive thing. If we'd been more proactive in our aquisition of other countries in the 'good old days' everyone would drive on the left hand side.

Good luck with your search.

Cheers,

James.

Would you not be better buying one with the steering wheel in the right place (for your country) and getting it painted?

Why not, but you must paint all the internal compartments and it's a big work.

Here's one which is yellow and in your price range. It's a targa but you can have the roof panels painted!

If I was looking for an NSX I would have bought this one when it was first advertised - looks nice.

The states have plenty of yellow ones with steering wheels on the "right" side for you... prices are good and supply is vast. No idea about shipping costs but presume you've considereed it.

I good respray would cost £4k - mine has been resprayed and I was thinking of returning it to IOP when I first got it. For £4k I'll keep the red as I'm still not convinced about the IOP anyway. You could justify it if you found one needing some paint attention; engine bay would be a pain but you could always get a rbay like I did:)

Or you could have the panels wrapped to avoid painting and allow an easily reversible option.

Thank you Steeve,

But i does 800kms to see this NSX for nothing, it is in very bad condition.

Lot of rust, steering power is down, front lip is missing (fixation points are broken), I think it was parked some years outside.
There are no invoice of maintenance, the history is not clear.
And the paint (bad new paint) is a little bit different if compare to internal door paint.

There are too works on it to have a nice car. I think that you can put between 8000€ and 10000€ to have a nice car but it will have always 155000kms.

And the price is too high for the condition of this NSX.

But thank for the link.
Gregory

Lot of rust,

I'd definitely steer clear of a rusty NSX:laugh:

OK, so its not 'rust' (but English is not Gregory's native tongue) but trust me, NSX's do corrode.

I had a few bubbles around one of my screen washer nozzles (kindly dealy with by Honda UK as a goodwill gesture), but looking around NSX's over the last 3-4 years I have seen plenty of corrosion.

Hi Gregory,

Sorry, I didn't know about the bad condition of this NSX.

Did you contact NSX Benelux already?
Maybe they know a member selling a yellow one.

At all, Thank you for your help, excuse my English.

It's not the good place but we created "the cercle of NSX owners" in France.

The link :
http://nsxworld.googlepages.com/

And we organise a small event in Normandie near of the Dieppe port, it's the 25 April 2009, if some people are interested to come to this small meeting (just 1 day, for the 20 years of the NSX) that will be with pleasure.

Give me your email by PM if you want the road book.

Can i put this thread in your event 2009?

Cheers

.......excuse my English.

No need to apologise - your English is infinately better than my French!

It is another long journey, but the yellow car linked earlier in this thread to an advert on Pistonheads does look promising..........
