ie NSX replacment - sorry no all that was said is that for economic reasons at this point the program has been haulted however they do still intend to bring out a high end sports car in the future. With their continual product development and ingenuity who knows it could have KERS.
HONDA CRX Concept, Alfa Romeo | Alfa 8C Competizione (http://www.alfa8c.co.uk/)
Alfa 8C - had an amazing paint job shame I couldn't get the depth and colour of the pearl in the clear coat.

Noel: This is for you Bud, the New 3.8 GT3 - Like the rear spoiler but its very plain when comparing it to the other supercars - leaves you cold, very anemic looking. http://www.porsche.com/microsite/911gt3/uk.aspx

S2000 Runout model
They could at least of added cruise or gone the full blown R treatment and ripped out loads of kit and dropped in a spare set of recaro's!

I do appologise about the quality of the Photos it was extremely hard to get decent shots with out people walking in your way, bumping you and the lighting conditions. Who would of thought there was a recession with like a zillion people there.

No it's not, it's (Zonda R) a sham. It can't be road registered but is not a racecar. Pagani has no racing pedigree it's therefore just a toy for multi-millionaires. Having diss'ed it though, I do quite like it :)
If I were a multi-millionaire I'd spend my $1.2 on a actual racecar maybe a Porsche 956/962 or even a 5-10year old Le Mans LMP1/2 car. Maybe something like these...

That be fighting talk ... ;) Being a lover of soft tops it would actually be the naked Roadster F .... as Hammond once said, it has that schoolboy bedroom wall picture thing about it .... and if you've ever heard one
http://www.seriouswheels.com/2006/2006-Pagani-Zonda-Roadster-F-SA-Top-1600x1200.htm
And of course you are right, he has no credentials to go racing. But then 8 years ago he was going to be another 5 minutes of fame for a wannabe supercar maker....

If I had to have a wobbly chassis'ed soft top ;) I go with a Carrera GT.
I've heard a couple of Zonda's in the flesh (at Goodwood FOS) and they do sound wonderful. Can't top the Macca F1 tho'
Speaking of which, maybe my $1.2M would go on one of those (McLaren F1), IF that's enough for one these days. At least they went racing even if Mr Murray never intended them to. An outright win at Le Mans has a certain cache don't you think :)
Come on Horacio (Pagani) get you finger out and race at Le Mans to give your shiney bling-mobiles some proper credibility.
Cheers

I've only been up close to the Yellow GT that Evo was running for a while when I was at one of the Goodwood brekkie runs.
Sadly I think you're right about the F1 ... the final road car sold for over £2.5m only last October ... but what a car!
And now for the top 5 tenuois link bit....(ok so Chris Evans does 10)
at 5: I drive a CF detailed NSX t top
at 4: The Zonda is a full CF shell (and probably the best you'll see anywhere)
at 3: It uses a german powerplant as does the F1
at 2: You once filled up next to to an F1 owned by Mr Flemke
at 1: Mr F owns 2 x NSX
and so we have now transitted the conversation from Geneva motor show back to NSX ownership and how difficult it would be to find a replacement, 2 seater mid engined sports car .......... ok, I admit I'm bored this evening and not interested in the soap re-runs so apologies for the weakness of linkage for this post to the original thread

Dammit Paul, you were supposed to bite on the wobbly chassis comment :)

Mark, They used to do this every year in conjuction with the Belgian or Swiss Porsche Club. Kevin was a regular and I went along to the last one (to watch) back in 2005?, where Gerard lightly crashed his turbo charged beast (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6q4pTWxIxM&feature=related). I'll let you post details of the event.
Looks like they're also doing track days at Le Mans (31st July) and Dijon (26th Sept) :)
Dijon is my home track and as my enquirys to hire it have so far come to naught I might enquire about attending the Swiss club event.
Cheers

All Zondas are beautifully crafted & gorgeous to look at, I wonder what replacement Mr Pagani got lined up?
Even Enzos are now at least $1million now!
For me the king is still the Mac F1!

Was lucky enough to go out in a Zonda F last summer - passengered for about 3 miles or so. I can honestly say I will never go in anything as fast and that sounds as good ever again most likely. It was a beautiful summers day and had the roof off - it really doesn't get much better on the road. It's the orange Group 20 (I think) one too btw.

Mark and I went to the Le Mans meet last year, we had really good time. Would be more than happy to again.
Plus would be up to going to Dijon as well.

I was offered one for less than that the other day, with only I think 3000 on the clock. I turned it down though of course........................

So it should've been given that it had 2 less seats and was supposed to cost ~100k.

Cheap Shot - The GTR Is a TANK:laugh:
I'd pay £100K cause its £50K cheaper than a Scud!!!
I'd even buy a GT3 before a GTR
and
I'd even Buy a F360 or any other F car before a GTR

The tank also has room for the kids. On a related note, Evora prices are out
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/news/default.asp?storyId=19507
The first option ‘regular’ Evora buyers will face then is whether to specify two or four (2+2) seats. The standard two-seater will cost £48,450 on the road, while the 2+2 adds £2,375 – a hefty price just to keep the kids happy on the school run!
>50k for the 2+2 is more than I was expecting.

...... Evora prices are out.... standard two-seater will cost £48,450 on the road, while the 2+2 adds £2,375 .....
Looks like Lotus have been drinking the same stuff Aston are on as both are being very bullish, particularly Lotus who have not lost a single days production or made any cut in staffing levels.
Personally I think this is too much money, and given the car has been pitched as a 2+2 from the offset, surely the seats should be a delete option that is replace with a retrim and luggage carrying facility for no extra cost, not the other way round. If it was £10 less I might have shown more interest.
that tank is looking awefully tempting ... but then again, so is the M5 Touring for <£40

Agreed
"M5 Touring for <£40"
or the E63 AMG estate, for when 5 litres just isn't enough.
