Can some of you members who have 95+ solaris Silver wheels tell me the OEM color of the lug nuts.
I'm changing to 95 + wheels and my 93 lug nuts are black.
Thank you

Mine are black on a 1997.

IIRC the OEM nuts which are specific to these wheels come finshed silver. Optional nuts from SOS or Mugen are often black. IMO either will look ok as one colour matched the wheel, theother matches the centre hub decal.

Honda list Silver or Black as standard so I guess it all depends on which parts bin they used that day.

Anyone know how much HUK sting you for a set of lugs nuts?
Mine are silver (chrome?) and could do with a refresh. I think I fancy changing to black.

You're better off buying a set of Mugen ones for the price, I think Honda are about £3 each and that doesn't include locking nuts.

Silver ones can be had off ebay for about a tenner plus shipping.

Can anyone confirm which type of wheel nuts are required for 02+ rims? Are they different to other years wheel nuts?
I have put the chamfered ones on but sure I read somewhere that they should have the acorn\conical\rounded style ....can anyone help?
They have not come loose yet, probably just being paranoid.

Well, it seems I have a set of chrome and a set of black ones. The black ones are for my blades. You are welcome to borrow either set.

Paul, you can have the chrome set of tapered wheel nuts I have if you need some.
I have been trying to get hold of some acorn style aftermarket ones with no joy and the guy I just spoke to told me that all aftermarket ones will be tapered seat (not sure if that's 100%?).....so it's off to Honda for me....

IIRC Mugen did/do the acorn type, so it might be worth looking for them before plunking money on OEM.

Ary's right - they do indeed. I bought a few sets back from the States a couple of years ago....infact, one of these was for Paul, but it is a chamfered fit nut Paul now needs, not 'acorn'.

Been looking but can't find the Acorn syle Mugens...from what I can see they will be close to what I'd pay for OEM's anyway. If anyone knows better though please shout...

Thanx Simon, I'll give you a shout. The wait for the wheels continues:( went to collect them today and finish wasn't what I was expeting so they're back to the refinishers on Monday. Damn shame as in the main the looked bl**dy good. I've gone for the really bright silver from the BMW MCoupe ... and where the work had been done properly they looked really nice ...... so the wait goes on
