My mechanic bought himself a 1993 NSX in Madrid last month and now back in Malaga with it he has asked me to get some advice on a radio amp fix. He tells me the unit [pictured] is duff. I know there might be a thread on here but apologies as i can't ever get a straight result using search....so i wonder if you know a handy remedy or is it a replacement amp? [Hope you know what your looking at too as i don't!] Thanks.

replacement amps are available from bose in germany, or BrianK on the nsxprime forum does repairs in the US , or i'm sure Kaz ( kzukNA1 on this forum) offers a repair service... (sure i saw it on one of his posts)
plenty of options!

Hi, eclipse1501.
Please have a look at post #21 of this thread; http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/testvb/showthread.php?t=6286
and #32 of this one;

As in #32 post above, I heard lots of good thing about Briank on Prime.
As same as the CCU (Climate Control Unit)) issue, it was caused by the leaking capacitors and possibly it damaged the IC as well.
I can either repair the amp or replace it with the refurbished one.
If you can send me an email, I can forward you the detail and you/he can decide the next step.
Looking forward to hearing from you again.
Regards,
Kaz
