Oxygen Sensors

Hi

Has anyone tried fitting one of the 'universal sensors' (as available from UK suppliers) as a replacement for an OEM oxygen sensor?

Alternatively, has anyone managed to find a UK supplier of direct replacements for the factory part fitted to the front manifold of a 1992 car?

I fitted pattern sensors from US source some 2 years ago - no problems to speak of to date
