Took standards off to get some tires sorted and stuck these on just to check them out.
I think the OEM's just have a bit more class than most aftermarket alloys.. but kind of like these and since they were just sitting in the garage, I think I'll run on them for a while. rears are pretty wide.. I'll have to see if it affects handling.

I agree - I think the standard rims on my '03 look really good and I can see no reason whatsoever to spend a load of money on replacements.
By the way were you in Bury St.Edmunds last year (I think)??
Cheers,
Baz
look pritty good to me
thx amo
They do look nice but are a lot heavier than OEM and IIRC are cast as well.

Although I'm a OEM man, they look well. What size are the rims and tyre sizes? :)

Agree with original comment. Love the OEM 17" wheels to bits but not bad

Hey Rob, snap :)
I had mine refinished in a slightly darker colour. The attached pic makes them look a bit lighter (shade) than they really are. I have black Honda "H" centres fitted now.
The extra weight is as much due to the bigger size, of the wheel and tyre (17" front, 18" rear) than them being cast, which they are.
Cheers

It's not merely the questionable aesthetics, it's the functionality.
The front offsets look a mile out, which could lead to jounce/tramlining under severe braking on bumpy/uneven surfaces. I'd anticipate a similar effact on the passive RWS.
Then there's the increased unsprung weight, too.
I'm not against aftermarket wheels per se (my S2000 is on Mugen GPs) but a beautiful piece of engineering such as the NSX deserves an appropriately beautifully-engineered wheel.

Nick one day I hope to develop the patience to write posts like you do. :)

Was going to say the same, front and rear offset look well out! The wheel style is nice but OEM for me also.
For some reason they look better on the pre facelift car as well.
I for one prefer a forged wheel like a TE 37 CE28N etc. I have 17s all around like in the 02 plus, and the only reason I am changing is that I need extra size at the rear.

I think there are different versions of the Khans?? These were 5 spoke but I think there a 6-spoke designs as well?
I had the RSV before, nice but Heavy!!!
