tcs..how can i test it?

the car is new to me and i'm not sure if the ...tcs is working??....may be i have not pushed it hard enough yet...but I did slip the back out trying to see if the system responds...is there a test or can someone give me the route to a tried and tested method of getting that light on!!!!p.s i luv this thing!!! :)

Sorry if this sounds obvious, but try a wet carpark (not easy at the moment), loads of revs and dumping the clutch...

I know that a few members (Darren?) would recommend that you don't investigate the usability of the TCS on the road - don't know enough to let you know the 'whys' though - maybe they can fill in the info?
