Hi,
I decided to get busy with some black powder coated aluminium mesh (for the retentive types like me - 16x9mm diamond to match the size of the mesh in the 2002 rear valance).
I managed to attach mesh to the side vents with no adhesives - just by careful shaping and hooking / tightening around the the existing mounting bolts/screws. Rock solid. Hardest part of the whole job is getting those vents out - you need an arm like a broomstick and a lot of patience I found to get the 2 'flower shaped nuts' off each side ...
Whilst I was at it I had a crack at the vent at the base of the glass hatch ...

Very nice! I like that.
I was looking to do the side vents myself but havent got round to it yet. Where did you get the mesh by the way?

Very tasty mod! Have you more pics of the whole car as I've noticed you have a modified lower side skirt? :)
Sudesh the mesh can be had from Halfords, Ebay or many of the metal shops.
I have done this on my R bonnet, RGT side vents and the rear valance.
Great mod and updates the car's looks.

As AR says - available most places.
The stuff I got is made by:
http://www.autostyle.nl/productfind.aspx?make=&model=&indexno=&searchfor=racemesh&universal=false
Had to ask if it was powder coated (rather than painted) as I read powder coat is a bit tougher when it comes to chips etc.
I went for the one coded TG1253Z
Bought it from this ebay shop: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/You-Want-We-Have__W0QQ_armrsZ1
Look under "Grill Mesh"
SebringOne ... these are the Wings West skirts - few fitment issues but if done properly (i.e. by a pucker body shop - I used 355 in Dunsfold) and reinforced (I bonded some aluminium) to prevent any sagging they look ok. They beef out the rear of the skirt - which is what I was after as my wheels stick a bit further out than OEM.
Here are few shots to get an idea of the lines ...

Have you a link to the exact one from the ebay guys?
How many sheets did you buy?

Sudesh - any of the black ones will do (they are all the code quoted above) ... he's just added one for every make of car to get more hits!
If you just want to do the side vents 1 sheet is plenty. If you want to do the rear hatch vent you'll need 2.

CMUK! I really like your modifications, suits the car alot and the paint matches very well too.
Are the alloys from SOS Pro Drive I think?, they are very similar to the 7 spoked OEMs?
Finally, I think your front number plate style/size is spot on, was this a simple mod and where you get the brackets from or was it a DIY?
Cheers, lovely to see a rare coloured NSX.

I've bought some of the same mesh from these guys before, as said it's a really hard wearing powder coated finish and better than the stuff I've seen in Halfrauds.

Wheels are Prodrive GC-07
Did a custom / DIY job on the number plate brackets.
"rare colour" - damn near extinct I'd say thanks to Senninha ;-)
