Tried searching, but the search engine doesn't like 3-letter words.
Did manage to find that it was 1995 in the US, but also that someone here with a '95 car had an OBD-I system...so I'm not sure.
(Basically, I've got an OBD-II reader from when I had CEL issues with the S2000, was wondering whether it would work or not...)
When it became DBW I think 95 96 depending on registration, it became LEV later on 2002 I think.

In answer to your second question, try it.
As to the first question mine is a 95 car, it is DBW. I believe it to be OBD-1, it responds to the 'paper clip' jumper with codes as [say] a non-DBW OBD-1 car would and, it only has 2 x O2 sensors [one per bank ahead of the cats].
My speculation is that the OBD-2 would have come in with the 3.2 engine, which had 4 x O2 sensors [ahead of and behind each of the cats].
Observation of the cats fitted to US cars shows a interim pattern for the 3.0 DBW cars which my car certainly hasn't got, so, there may be variances between different markets.

If you have an OBD-II port under the glovebox, your car is OBD-II. Otherwise it isn't :D
"Martin"'s green '96 is definitely OBD-I so I imagine yours would be too.

The ABS ECU still works with a paperclip even on OBDII cars.

Thanks all for the advice...I'll check later on, but it sounds like it's a "no".
Ah well...
