2004 NSX type R

I know that Honda chose not to officially import the 2004 NSX type R, however has anyone heard of anyone that has privately imported one. What are the approximate cost of one in Japan?

Looking round the *** adverts, the cheapest TypeR for sale this week is 12,300,000 Yen which is ~£62,100.

Then you have to deregister it, transport it, and pay Duty and VAT (don't get me started - you pay VAT on the Duty also) and other bits, which works out to approx £83,000 :shock:

Haven't heard of anybody privately importing one - maybe that's why!

Type 'NSX' (or other model names, 'Integra' etc work) into the first dialog box on the page and hit enter -

It's all in japanese though, so you need your wits about you!
