Any Golfers on here?
If the course is worth it, I'm up for most anywhere in the SouthEast and would travel and hour or so.
I have a stack of 2 for 1 vouchers... so could organize a nice place, £60 round and get on for £30..
I even have a 4-ball voucher for a Golf Club in South Herts that my wife bought at a charity auction last Spring -that would be relatively free ;) or a voucher for a 4-ball in Slough that's an easy course and it would be free!
I play off 16 - 18..
Anybody have a Favourite course, or a course you've been wanting to play?
Would be good to get a 4 ball from NSXCB, show up in force and play for lots of money, .. Gold Bars, anyone?

Hi Rob,
My golf can only be described as regimental given my left right left transition up the fairway.
That said, I'd love the opportunity to dust off the clubs providing you dont mind my 100 strokes to the 18th hole ....
Any of your locations would be fine
regards, Paul

hmmm that would be an average of about 6 strokes a hole.. = pretty good golf. maybe you meant 150 ;) ?
Would be great to rope in 2 others... how about NSX 2000 ?

And isn't Mark a golfer too?

Hey, sounding good. Considering you guys are on the East sort of side of London, I'd be happy to venture that way?
I've got all these 2 for 1 vouchers so will start to look into courses that appear above par, visually.. That we can focus more on the views than the Golf ;)

And isn't Mark a golfer too?
After a fashion :)
I'd be up for a game or two.
I play pretty irregularly these days. I've played 3 whole rounds this year but will double that this weekend with my annual society trip, Cardiff this year.
I'm playing off 20 for the purposes of my society but I'm not a member of a course so don't have an official handicap.
Cheers

I think a weekday could be problematic for Mark and Paul. ??
I will start looking at courses this weekend. Probably going to pick something in the M25 / Surrey / Kent Area?
Weather can always cause last minute changes this time of year. With Mark going to Cardiff this weekend... lets start looking at the weekend of the 24th or the 31st ( Halloween a problem weekend for anyone ?)

To be honest a weekday would be best for me if given notice as I do things most weekends with the family.

Ok... just did some searches... can't find a good website for this one... but the review sounds good. It's a £60 course too... so should be a good standard. I've got 2 for 1 vouchers for us... so will only be £30 each.
*I've picked RH as a post code as I figure that's about in the middle of all of us?
*I can do a weekday.. It's down to Marc now ; whether he can/wants to do a day off for this? I'm indifferent.
having troubles finding good links... but Chartham Park Review-

Looking at those photo's I think I'll be investing the course savings in a buggy ... that looks like an very long walk

It depends on the date you go for, when are you thinking?
Weekends would be better for me as I have no holiday days left this year and it's not going to be easy to go missing in the next few weeks.
You could also try Reigate Hill Golf Club if you're looking in the Surrey Kent border. Played it a good few years ago now but remember it was nice.
Cheers

Weekend is fine by me and probably better, as I love work just too much to miss out on a day of it ;)
Over the next couple weeks... how about the 24th or 25th / 31st or 1st ?

Rob means the next weekend rather than next weekend.
I'm traveling to Houston Sunday morning, 1st Nov, so the Mrs won't take kindly to me disappearing on Saturday as well. Same problem the weekend after that as I won't get back until late Saturday morning.
Weekend after that (14th-15th Nov) might be OK.

It's pretty far out there also, once we start talking mid November, we should be talking about ski trips and not golf ;)
Marc.. any possibility of getting an afternoon off one day? or is that out of the question? at 3:00 tee off would be about as late as we could go for.
Barring that... if we could play closer to Wembly.. i.e. North Side of London, than I could do something in the a.m. that Sunday (25th) . i.e. a 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. tee off??
I do have that 4 ball voucher with a pretty nice course in St. Albans.

Rob, I could probably do next Sunday (25th) over your way as you suggest.
No chance of sneaking off over the next few weeks I'm afraid, too much to do :(

How people fixed for the first week of November, say the 4th, 5th or 6th?
I guess early tee time is now around 8am? SHould have us back in for lunch and the rest of the day is free
