hi my name's andy im from nottingham i'm abit of a honda nu$t had loads starting with a l reg civic 1.5 lsi that went onto a ek6 civic and then a ek9 civic onto a civic type r and then a civic type r jdm a integra type r in white and now a JDM S2000 but i'm on the search for a nsx prep a manual not fussed on colour just thought id find a few for sale on here and i would like to know the PRO's and CONS of a nsx years between 1993 to 1997 if anyone can help thanks andy.

There was a black 1996 auto for sale in Nottingham with 76K, I nearly bought the car, but he crashed it damaging the front end :(, I asked for photo's, but did not receive any, he said the car was being checked by the insurers, if your interested I could look for the contact details.

That's good, either a good example, very low mileage or a desperate buyer then, I bought one 3 months ago for a lot less. Then again I also sold a wrecked MY00 with over 100k miles on it near the start of the year for £5500

There does appear to be a big gap between the revision model on S2000's but I wouldn't pay any extra for rounded off bumpers, maybe for the 17" alloys but they can be had on ebay for sub £500 anyway.

There is a yellow one at benz bavarian at duffield near derby for sub 20k if i remember rightly , drove past it the other day , its on auto trader.
I keep toying with the idea of selling nsx 60 but then the `what do i get next` question comes up and when i figure in depreciation (or lack of it) and the fact that owning an NSX gets instant respect amongst other petrol heads i always decide against it !!!! Sorry.

Hi Andy, I had wanted a manual but couldn't find one with a good enough history and seen an auto with great history so I bought it. I really like the auto box in it, its good. I've had it re-furbished so its like new and changes up n down gears very very quickly. If you find a car with good history then thats the important thing. I love the car and dont regret the auto box. I get every bit as much enjoyment from the car as I do from my other cars which are both manuals. If you see a nice one and its an auto dont let it put you off - take a test drive and see what you think.

I completely agree - most people when they see my nsx, they scream "WHY AN AUTO?" I just dont care for the manual as the auto is smooth, practical and also performs when you want it to...no regrets!

Hi Andy!

There are plenty of old NSXs out there that are great value and look like new. I didn't buy a lovely 3.0 example once becasue I didn't like the green.
