Cant be that many white with red interiors, I can't remember the reg but looks like the one I test drove a few years back.

Never seen a white UK car (NA1)!!

Not sure about a track car, the chassis will be bent. Doesn't look much use excluding drivetrain and a few interior bits.

Reg is/was V9 NSX

I have a couple of pics, I'll look for.

Sorry to see this being so rare.

NA2 with pop ups, if it is the same it had an uprated clutch.

Thats a real shame, I thought about taking a look & maybe buying this car 3/4 years ago, but only just brought my. A very rare UK supplied NA2 pop up in white. :(

I'd note the VIN and watch out for it being offered after its repair. The damage is not very serious but serious enough to replace the right front area. EDIT: Wrong, the damage is serious, I think after looking at the pics once again.

It interesting that the screen has what appears to be 7/7/07 written on it with 62,959 miles? If this is indeed what's on it and the picture of the odometer shows 73,314 I wonder what the story is on the difference? Could it have been repaired, run another 11k miles and crashed again...then the old pictures are used again ? Is this the actual damage now??? I wonder although the engine & gearbox might have been nice......

may be but.......online registration is not instant, calling the telephone registration number gets the fax and the general enquiries number just rings out........

Anyway, if anyone on here buys it for spares/race spares (Rob Fenn??) can I buy the centre console from them please?

£3710 + buyers premium (no vat) seems pretty reasonable for a 3.2 with 6speed box, along with all the electrics to make it work....Would be good in a leggy older car......

Edit.......not finished yet, this stupid 1 minute extension thing!!! Surely when the hammer goes down that should be it?!?!

I'll shut up now.......I would have liked this if it was cheap enough....Think I know who might be buying it, or at least who the two bidders may be.....

I doubt it actually sold, surely there would have been a reserve?

Shame it finished early in the morning as a i would have tried finding out more. Shame you can't see the salvage yard actually sellling it.

If it is actually V9 then it was at Norton's earllier this year having a full service by Brian and the team.

Paint was in need of some tlc (even more so now ;)) and the color coding around the window trims didn't work well.

As someone said above, could be a nice 3.2 drivetrain stuck in the back there ....

Paul, the one with the colour coding around the windows isn't this car, that was an Auto for a start.

I was lucky enough to get a very important and pricey part from the green car about 6 months ago....

Is the red car the other one Paulius (who bought Ben Foakes LBB) had that Simon (NSXGB) got the wheels from? I wonder if the LLB has been repaired and is back on the road, either in the UK or abroad?

Oh well, not exactly exciting but just the correct throttle body I needed....95-96 cars have a unique DBW unit just before the 3.2 came out so finding the appropriate spare used was hard but a lucky find at CMS....I used a 2004 unit for a while but it wasn't quite right...Not faulty, just not calibrated properly for the 3.0 motor. The 3.2 TB is available if anyone ever needs it.....

Strange that your car would not have the correct TB, I assume it was someones doing and not HUK.

I might take that off your hands Gary. I can send it off for exchange with SOS for re-working and still have a usable car in the meantime. PM me with a price please :)

You can say that again when I had a look at it it had an exedy clutch and the interior look like...well used. The paint looked like the paint on an old cooker! Kerbed wheels, you name it, it had it!

My car did have the correct TB when I got it but it was faulty. It was me who changed it. I looked at the 3.2 one and as it seemed identical I bought it. It cured the original fault I had but due to the calibration of the TB motor for the bigger engine it would sometimes stall my car coming to a halt. It worked fine in a 3.2 car however. I'm guessing the servo motor was calibrated differently. In the end I got the CMS one for the 3.0 and all problems were gone....before I ever looked into re-calibrating the 3.2 one.

Only good for spares, I don't think the repair can be done right for less than the price of a straight car.

For what i needed and what i spent id not bother with the white one unless breaking it. shame as i love the colour

I was after it the first time round as a breaker, as in my opinion not worth fixing unless its to be a long project where you take your time, souce the parts correctly at a reasonable cost, do most of the work yourself and intend on keeping the car. I'd still be interested in it as a breaker but after seeing it on PH for £9,995 I have stopped being interested lol

Sadly it seems that a lot of the NSX part sellers have a lot in common with Amy Winehouse and I don't mean the music.

Happy new year lads !!
Time to have another look see after all this talk and pics of these three wrecks.
Seems they all have the ever evasive washer system and "I want one"!!
Anyone with any info on one that doesn't cost more than an arm, as aposed to an arm AND a leg, i'd love to hear about it.
I've left contact info at all three sites and hoping for a response from them or maybe some help from you club lads.
Over two years i've aquired a pair of nozzles for the front bumper and a console switch but the more bits to complete a system the better.
I plan on contacting Kaz for the measurements on the "exact" location for hole placement before drilling in the front bumper but I want to have ALL parts on hand first.

Cheers

Hi Nigel! Happy New year

Unfortunately you wont get the head light wash from any of the above cars. The green one has been in a salvage yard for years and is pretty much all gone now, the red car is in the same salvage yard but is not a car for dismantling, its to be repaired, and same story for the white one.
