From what I've read on NSXPRIME 400bhp is considered about the limit. A lot of the tuning type questions you are asking would probably be answered by looking over there as they are far more into their modifying than over here and thus have the good & bad experiences....

BTW I own a midnight blue/purple manual targa, 1996, but with a black interior....Have fitted leather recaro PP's with electric runners and done several updates & mods......It wouldn't have been my first colour choice initially, still like many others, but the one for sale at the moment seems ok....Will have JDM gear ratios as well which is good with the 5-speed box.....and it's a targa. If you were changing the seats anyway the rest of the black interior could probably be found eventually if you didn't like the lighter colour...and as Sudesh (I think?) said, dying the carpet black appears easy enough....I may well do this next summer myself
