Hi Guys, I have a customer bringing me a car to look at for some work next week. Its a 91 NA1 in black, but is apparently set up as a drift car, with trick suspension and lots of mods even the owner doesnt know about. Anyone know the car?
I will of course post pics etc as and when i get to see it.
regards
Andy

Has it got flared wheel arches?
If so, one was featured in a Japanese tuning mag a few years ago,
possibly run by the dude who owns/owned Option motorsport, but that may be incorrect.

Car arrived today, is a 90/91 NA1 Auto.48k km, imported 2007 standard suspension, full BN Sports bodykit and graphics, TE37 rims, AAR drivers seat, few extra gauges etc. Couple of marks around it here and there and a few little things need sorting to tidy it up. sounds lovely, although not sure what exhaust is on it. Carbon and clear engine cover, braided coolant hoses off rad and expansion tank.
Anyone interested in buying the beast, could put a good word in to the man who owns it and is currently uninterested in the car as he is a bit of a giant and doesnt quite fit lol.
Also any idea on its value

Taitec GT Lwt.
Also using test pipoes and OEM manifolds.
PS as for value I think the owner will be better off taking the graphics off.
Are wheels the TE37 MAG or just the lookalikes?
Rear offset looks way off for a non wide body NSX.

I agree on the graphics, they do look tacky. They are the real deal TE37 forged. Rears are 19 x 10, with a ridiculous low offset. its clearly just for show, drives ok, but handling has been compromised for looks imo.
Is it worth 15k? as it stands?
Andy there are forged Aluminium TE37s like mine and Magnesium TE37s.
As for the car it depends on the future buyer and the car's history.
It might be better to sell some parts off it.
IMHO it looks a bit dated, but that is just me.

Car was imported july 07, low mileage 25k miles. Has all history from Japan etc, so in those terms is ok. I did tell him i would give 10k and probably break it for spares, but he is a little reticent on that, so he is sniffing for value as is. I said 13 ish but not too sure tbh. Few little bits need doing to get it saleable, but would make a relatively nice car if done properly i guess. I would imagine a low mileage model like this is quite rare now too.

Is it worth putting a Supercharger on an auto car?

No unless you want to get a new box for it. :)
